WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT PHS THEATRE:

Our family had such a wonderful time last Saturday night in Pineville at Fiddler On The Roof!  The play, along with its talented cast, music, scenery and professional production values was absolutely fantatastic.  It definitely merited top honors!

 Pascale M.   Baton Rouge, Louisiana

My wife and I have been regular patrons of the Pineville theater presentations. Year after year we continue to be blown away by the incredible talent of your students. We attend similar presentations in Houston but not one of them compares with yours. Your sets are incredible and the general presentations are so professional. Congratulations on your direction and keep up the good work. WE loved Fiddler on the Roof.

Gerry B.    Houston, Texas

From the rising of the curtain until the closing we were amazed at the great talent on display.  It’s so nice to know we can drive to Pineville instead of New Orleans or New York to see polished actors and actresses! We will remember THE SOUND OF MUSIC for many, many days!

Ernie and Judy T.   Winnfield, Louisiana

I have seen Phantom Of The Opera many times over the years.  Your production ranks right up there with the professionals.  I could not believe my ears.  HOW did you find so many talented students? The entire evening was just delightful.  When the chandelier began to rise over the audience my husband leaned over and whispered “ I thought we were going to a high school production.”  Please pass along my congratulations to the cast and keep up the great work.  I can’t wait to see what next year’s season holds.

Shannon B.    Plano, Texas

I was visiting my brother last week who is stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana.  I happened to hear an advertisement for your production of Beauty & The Beast.  My daughter is in love with this show, and reluctantly I agreed for us to get tickets and attend.  I expected a rather uneventful rendition of the Disney film.  Boy, was I wrong!  From the opening sequence with the flying Enchantress to the astounding dancing and singing, to the unbelievable transformation, I was spellbound. Congratulations!   What an evening.  You guys are special.  I could not believe I was sitting in a high school.  We are going to plan our next visit to Fort Polk around one of your productions.  Add me to your mailing list.

Thanks!

Congratulations on your recent production of West Side Story.  Amazing dancing and voices.  And I have to say that long after we left the theatre we were still talking about the lessons taught—seemingly effortlessly-- by your cast.  Well done!

James P.   Pineville, Louisiana

Please pass along my admiration and congratulations to the cast of Hairspray. I enjoyed the evening from start to finish. Such powerful messages artfully woven into laughter and tears.  Pure theatre!  Thank you!

Jeff D.    Jackson, Mississippi

Thank you for bringing Ragtime to our community.  I encouraged my students to attend and many did.  They are still talking about it and I do believe it has opened the eyes of many to the struggles of different ethnic groups throughout our history as a nation.  What a history lesson!  Please tell the cast what a great job they did with their characters.  And the singing was awesome!

Alexandria, LA (Teacher-Rapides Parish)

I wanted to let you know how much it meant to our students to attend Beauty & The Beast.  And thank you for allowing us to have a sneak peek backstage to see how the “magic” happens.  They were thrilled and are already talking about what they want to do next year for a show!   Your students were so nice and professional and patient.  Please let the cast know how much we enjoyed the show.  It really gave us something to shoot for!
