Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tells the whimsical story of Caractacus Potts, an eccentric inventor who, with the help of his children and the resourceful Truly Scrumptious, restores an old race car into a magical, flying, and floating vehicle. Using ingenuity, bravery, and the car’s extraordinary abilities, the Potts family outwit the villains of the story to tell a tale full of fantasy and imagination.
Since 1992, the Theatre Department at The Pineville High Magnet Center for the Creative & Performing Arts has continually provided audiences throughout the region with amazing theatrical productions. Refusing to compromise and settle for average, the nationally recognized program continues to grow, with over 130 students participating in a variety of challenging, educational and entertaining productions annually.
